Rex/Texel Special Care : Rexes and Texels require being checked occassionally for tangles. Leaving tangles unattended can result in the fur becoming matted, which leads to discomfort.

This buck takes a bit of patience. Once you pick him up, he is extremely affectionate and will happily lay in your hand and brux. However, he is less certain about actually being picked up in the first place. He needs some time to warm up. 

Hairless Special Care : Hairless mice are slightly more sensitive than their furred counterparts. They have sensitive eyes as there is no fur to keep dust/debris away, so be sure to use a low-dust bedding option. They are also more sensitive to cold temperatures, so give them deep bedding and keep them out of drafts or cold environments!
